Licensed states
A state license authorizes an agent to conduct insurance business in that state. It does not mean that every insurer, product, or enrollment channel is available through that agent.

State-based Marketplace participation
In addition to applicable federal Marketplace requirements, I am certified to participate through the state-based ACA Marketplace exchanges serving these states:
Kentucky: I hold a Kentucky insurance license but do not currently participate in Kentucky’s state-based Marketplace exchange.
Nevada: I hold a Nevada insurance license but do not currently participate in Nevada’s state-based Marketplace exchange.
ACA/Marketplace and private options
Depending on your state and situation, I may be able to help you explore ACA/Marketplace coverage, private health plans, or both. Marketplace and private options operate under different eligibility, underwriting, benefit, and enrollment rules.
Before discussing a particular option, I’ll confirm that I’m licensed and able to present it through the appropriate appointment or enrollment channel. I do not represent every insurer or every plan available in a state.
Verify an insurance license
You can verify an agent’s license through the applicable state insurance department. The National Association of Insurance Commissioners maintains a directory of state insurance departments. Use my full name, Eli Thermilus, and NPN 21281546 when verification requires identifying information.
